London Music Festival Goes Cashless with NFC
This year’s Barclaycard Wireless Festival in Hyde Park, London will ease the worries of attendees by becoming the first event of its kind to go completely cashless. Vendors will all accept contactless payment methods.
Attendees will be able to load up a Barclaycard PayBand, which sits on the wrist, with tokens before entering the event which they can just show a bartender for drinks. Organizers believe it will ease the need to carry cash and credit/debit cards.
